Today was a good day. I spent a fantastic morning being interviewed on the Kat Orman show at the BBC Radio Oxford Summertown studios. Kat is also a columnist for The Oxford Mail and a regular face on the Oxford journalism scene.
Being on radio is so much fun, I’ve always loved it! Kat wanted to talk to me about how my entrepreneurial spirit started at such a young age, and how I’m now going into schools to hopefully inspire some youngsters! We talked about how I run six businesses whilst being a mum to two small children and of course my time on The Apprentice.
I’ve been lucky enough to spend a lot of time on radio in the past thanks to my time on The Apprentice and was once interviewed by Scott Mills for Radio 1. It’s something I’ve always loved doing and comes naturally to me. BBC Radio Oxford was no different, the studio and the people are all lovely!
BBC Radio Oxford is one of the 40 local BBC stations across the country and has been running since 1970, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, it now has a weekly audience of 61,000 people across the county!
If you get a moment, have a listen to the full 16-minute interview at BBC Radio Oxford below, I’d love to hear your thoughts if you do.
If you work for a radio station or run a podcast and would like to feature me and hear my story, get in touch through my contact page, I’m always up for a new challenge.
