About Michelle Niziol – The Empowering Entrepreneur
My entrepreneurial journey began aged 9, when I started to sell products at car boot sales. From a young age, I had it all planned out. I knew I wanted to get married, have 2 children, a girl and a boy, run my own business, build my own home and earn enough money to be financially free.
I’ve never taken ‘no’ for an answer. Any time someone told me I couldn’t do something, it only made me more determined to work hard and go for it!
From the age of 14, I worked as many jobs as I could, saving for a house. At 18 I bought my first house with my husband and I loved the process so much, that we started a property portfolio!
The process also led me to launch my first business, which was a mortgage brokerage. I loved the fact that I was able to make one of the most stressful times in a person’s life as hassle free as possible. My success in this business led me to become one of the top mortgage broker’s in the UK, winning various awards and becoming a ‘go’-to’ broker for the media.
This led on to me launching The IMS Property group, which services many businesses, looking after every aspect of property. I now own an estate agency, lettings agency, property portfolio building company and a property investment company.
The businesses enabled me to amass a multi-million-pound empire and personal property portfolio.
I found myself taking on the challenge of becoming an Apprentice candidate in series 12 of the popular BBC1 show, that was an incredible year of my life with so many experiences and mentors in Lord Sugar, Karren Brady and Claude Littner.
After nearly 20 years in business and helping many business owners in every aspect of their business, I decided to completely follow my passion and set up my latest business, The Empowering Entrepreneur.
I now mentor women in business, to help them believe that THEY CAN DO THIS! I help them find their way, overcome overwhelm, self belief issues, increase sales, marketing and to believe their value.
I have also set up The Empowering Entrepreneur Children’s Enterprise which is a community interest company, to mentor and financially support children’s further educational or business needs.
I get to travel the country giving keynote speeches at some of the countries most prestigious events, to inspire and motivate. This year I am also booked into 50 schools and universities.
My dream is to empower as many women as possible to follow their dream of running their own successful business, and defining their own versions of success.

Michelle Niziol – Supporting our schools
Michelle launched her schools initiative through her company, the IMS Property Group in mid 2019 and currently has over 25 schools signed up to the scheme. The scheme has two parts, referral donations and free speaking opportunities.
IMS donate 10% of any banked commission fee to a registered school if an associate of the school quotes it’s name when using any of their award-winning property investment and management services. On average this works out at £150 per referral straight in the schools pocket, helping fund key purchases like mini-buses and recording equipment.
Michelle regularly speaks at schools in and around the Oxfordshire area. In 2020, she is touring the below schools, providing a tailored talk and activities about enterprise and entrepreneurship.
